What's New in All Systems:
When importing and exporting Tasks using TaskLink 5.0, name/value pairs are now consistent across all systems. This minimizes Task editing when a Task is used on different systems (for example, FlashPAK and PS Series FlashCORE). Note that when using TaskLink 4.60 (or earlier), only terms recognized by 4.60 will be imported, and some Task editing may be required.
What's New in PS Series FlashCORE Systems:
Fixed a problem which caused the Job Run operation to fail for certain devices which required LCA.bit files. The error message reported that the LCA.bit file was not found (5.01).
Improved the Process tab in the task editor to customize device processes based on the device selected.
TaskLink now keeps the default IO Offset value in the system preferences when creating new Tasks.
Added new Special Features tab in the task editor for use with future microcontroller devices.
Updated the Process tab in the task editor to handle multiple processes per Task.
Improved file transfer protocols from TaskLink to FlashCORE programmers for more consistent and reliable operation.
Added a new feature to the Data tab in the task editor for loading a master device and using the data to populate related Task settings.
Added Session Data Logging feature for FlashCORE programmers, in a format similar to other programming systems supported on TaskLink.
Added support for serialization on FlashCORE programmers using SERIALIZ.EXE and SERIAL2.EXE serialization programs.
Added a new dialog from the Tools menu for running FlashCORE diagnostics.
Added Print and Save buttons to the programmer
log file upload items, available from the Tools menu.
What's New in PS Series Optima Systems:
The Serialization tab in the task editor now displays only valid serialization programmers as defined in the WinAH400.ini file.
Updated the Process tab in the task editor to handle multiple processes per Task.
Added the PP100 Job Import feature, available from the Tools menu, for the conversion of older .job and .ini job files into .tsk (Task) files.
Added Session Data Logging feature for Optima programmers, in a format similar to other programming systems supported on TaskLink.
Updated the Data tab in the task editor to allow for optional directories under I:\PRGDATA on the PS Series Server Computer.
Updated the Data tab in the task editor so that during job setup TaskLink can transfer a data file from a corporate network (or other PC) to the I:\PRGDATA directory on the PS Series Server Computer.
Added a feature to include or exclude device special bytes in the checksum calculation.
Added a feature to set the checksum digits to either 4 or 8 digits.
Added a feature to select the checksum calculation
method. 8bit, 16bit, 32bit and device default are allowed.
Added a feature to allow users to toggle the default buffer contents setting in the Optima programmer before the data file is loaded.
What's New in UniSite Family Systems:
Fully tested on Windows XP.
Fixed incorrect display of the RAM checksum when serializing and the serial checksum flag is not specified.
Updated processing engine to use correct CRC command when performing a Blank Check or Illegal Bit check when POF format devices are selected.
What's New in Sprint Family Systems:
Fully tested on Windows XP.
Removed error check that required JEDEC files to have a .JED file extension.
Fixed problem with security fuse programming setting on some logic devices.
Improved "Data Word Width" error checking when running a Task, so the error message is displayed only when appropriate.
Fixed problem with serialization command line parameters imported from TLDOS tasks.
Fixed problem with programmer setup when running load master as the first operation after starting TaskLink.
Improved error handling when saving RAM to
a file on the hard drive.
What's New in ProLINE-RoadRunner Systems:
Updated the Session Data Logging feature to include two missing parameters.
Improved the Process tab in the task editor to customize device processes based on the device selected.
Added new Special Features tab in the task editor for use with future microcontroller devices.
Added network support for the following operations
over an Ethernet connection:
--downloading jobs to the programmer(s)
--viewing statistic files, jobs and available PC Card space
--logging session data
--viewing firmware version of the programmers
--sending Update files to the programmers
--setting administrator privileges
Added Network Wizard for configuring programmer(s) network parameters.
What's New in FlashPAK Systems:
Updated the Session Data Logging feature to include two missing parameters.
Improved the Process tab in the task editor to customize device processes based on the device selected.
